The University of Maryland’s Art Education Program is recognized for its intensive coursework and extensive applied learning designed to totally put together future art educators for as we speak’s various faculties. The mission of Persevering with the Conversation is to promote and advance dialogue with a purpose to establish and work on pressing issues within the Arts in Schooling sector and to encourage these involved to guide and create change in this sector and beyond by expanding the place of the humanities in training and in society.

The crew of instructor educators in the College of Arts Schooling and Movement are committed to the empowerment of the following generation of teachers as dynamic, ethical leaders in arts training and physical schooling who will make a big and unique contribution to the holistic learning of youngsters and young people.

We serve our companion organizations by offering priority entry to analysis and data, and creating alternatives for communication and collaboration between arts disciplines and across sectors on key schooling points, which advantages their work with their constituents in colleges and communities nationwide.
