Shoebox Dioramas are a part of each school 12 months and in nearly every grade they function a wonderful learning tool. By building on and revisiting learning from previous ranges, arts programmes in every self-discipline present progressions of learning opportunities in all 4 strands. Because of the present emphases on curriculum standards, the rigidness of students’ lessons deprives them of the best way of learning: by personal exploration and discovery.
By making, sharing, and responding to music, students contribute to the cultural lifetime of their schools, whānau, peer teams, and communities. The mission is a collaboration with the Canadian Network for Arts and Learning and is funded by the Ontario Trillium Basis.
