In my third year in junior faculty, just like my fellow Nigerian college mates, stereotypes made me consider that I had to be a science pupil to be thought of a person who would more than likely achieve success in the future. When the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) started closing down entire departments and projects on account of lack of funding, IJAS ended up acquiring a lot of refereed publications given that it will supply them for free to the general public for a set variety of years.
